I never get it. I really don’t. I don’t think he’s that good looking, his facial hair looks like it’s painted on, and he has odd hair that looks naturally gelled up. I’ve never seen him in General Hospital, but I don’t understand how he became the heart-throb he is considered.
There is, however, one thing I love about George Clooney. He is absolutely amazing at being sarcastic. He drips with sarcasm, insincerity and dry humor when he wants to, and I find THAT, of all things, to be the coolest, most awesome thing about him as an actor.
He’s a good actor, no doubt about that, but still – heart-throb? Hardly

You guys are making me feel older than dirt!! I do think that George is good looking. But I feel your way to young to see it the way us “slightly older” women do. I think one of the things that attract me to him is the way he stands. He has very good posture and always stands “proud.” I also find Richard Gere and John Travolta good looking. But I’m a LOT older than you guys.
Tell me, who do you “young” people find attractive?? I’m dying to know.
Joy, a LOT of my friends think George Clooney is the hottest man alive. I’m on of the only who don’t, so no reason to feel old!!!
Actually, all the actors I like are the older generation – the younger is fake and phooey and way too pretty-pretty-boy. I love Johnny Depp, Robert Downy Jr., Alan Rickman… Men that have some trexture to them, not boring perfect faces like Orlando Bloom etc. I think the youngest actor I absolutely love is Jonathan Rhys Meyers and he’s just over thirty.
That’s funny, because I just saw George Clooney in a movie and thought the same thing. I mean, he’s obviously hot, but he also has this charm about him that makes people love him so much.
You’re not the only person who thinks george clooney isn’t as handsome as everyone else does. Honestly I find his personality actually makes people think he’s better looking than he really is. What I don’t get is the sheer enthusiasm involved whenever people talk about his looks; he’s good looking, yes, but beyond that…? I agree his sarcasm is admirable but common, he’s just about the most standard good looking you can get.
hi i am another girl who don’t find George CLooney at all handsome, in fact i cannot stand him a bit; you can say mostly because of the attraction part, i don’t know what’s so exciting about him, today a friend came to our house, they were invited for dinner, she told me that clooney is better looking than Brad pitt, i was like saying to myself ‘oh man, this is the joke of the year 2009 hehe’
